Bacon Breakfast Sausage Recipe

This sweet and savory simple breakfast sausage is the perfect addition to your morning meal. Served perfectly alongside with eggs and a pile of veggies. They're quick, easy, flavorful and juicy!


Ingredients:


Meat

  • 1 lb. Ground Pork

  • 10 Bacon Slices

Condiments

  • 1 tbsp. Maple Syrup


Seasonings (Optional)

  • Salt

  • Garlic Powder

  • Rosemary

  • Sage

  • Thyme

Fats & Oils

  • Butter or Ghee



Instructions:

  1. Cut the bacon into small pieces, unless you have a small kitchen grinder, you can grind the bacon.

  2. Mix the bacon & ground pork together in a large bowl with clean hands.

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl & mix again.

  4. Form the patties, I used a 1/3 measuring cup to scoop & help form the mixture into patties.

  5. Heat the frying pan or skillet to medium-high heat.

  6. Add a small amount of butter to pan.

  7. Add patties to the pan. Allow them to brown on each side, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  8. Remove from heat & serve!


Tips:

  • Store raw sausage in the fridge up to 2 days or in the freezer for 1 month.
